Lodge Chief
Carson Patterson
Carson is an Eagle Scout out of Troop 135 in Franklin. He is currently a senior at Fred J Page High School. Carson joined Scouting when he was in first grade as a bobcat. He has attended NYLT and NLS, and staffed as an ASPL at MTC-025. Carson was inducted in 2017, received his brotherhood in 2018, and kept his vigil in 2020. He has held several leadership positions in the Wa-Hi-Nasa lodge including Kitchen Chair, Induction Chair, Vice Chief of Service, and Vice Chief of Program. Outside of Scouts you might find Carson doing anything from painting, woodworking, mountain biking, or even bowling.

Ephraim R.
Ephraim is a freshman at MTSU. He joined Scouting early at the age of 6 with Pack 367. After obtaining the Arrow of Light award, he completed his Eagle rank in 2021. Currently, he is still a member of Troop 367 as well as Crew 197 in Murfreesboro, TN. He has served as a member of the lodge since 2019 serving in various roles. Ephraim has several hobbies including: watching sports, working out, collecting flags, and journalism. Ephraim is also a TSSAA-accredited journalist and serves as the Smith County High School’s Sports Information Director.

Brady G.
Brady is a junior at MTSU studying finance. He joined Scouting in 2017, and earned his Eagle in 2021. He was the 50th Eagle Scout from Troop 314. He was inducted into the Order of the Arrow in 2019, joined Venturing Crew 357, went to NYLT and NAYLE, and took the Powder Horn course. He also had the opportunity to teach a class at NOAC. Outside of Scouting, he can be found watching Alabama and Titans football. He is also involved with his church helping run the A/V booth and involved with the Alpha Omega college ministry on campus.

Ryan H.
Ryan Ham is a freshman at UTK from Franklin, TN. He joined Scouting in first grade with 135 and moved into Troop 135 after getting his Arrow of Light. Ryan acehived the Eagle rank in June of 2023. He joined the Order of the Arrow in June 2018, and has worked in the kitchen for 3 years and service crew this past year. His favorite hobbies are kayaking, hanging out with friends, and exploring new places.

Emerson E.
Emerson Eige is a Life Scout from Troop 75 in Hendersonville. He’s been in Scouting since he was a tiger scout. He moved from Florida to Tennessee about when he crossed over into the BSA. He joined the OA in 2021 and was the first in many years from his unit to be elected, reinvolving them in the OA. Emerson has served as SPL for his unit twice, Chapter Chief, and Slack Chair. His hobbies include playing the drum set and bass guitar, learning Japanese, gaming, and learning about geography and other countries.

Patrick M.
Patrick is a freshman at Florida State University from Old Hickory, TN. He is an Eagle Scout from Troop 911, which he joined in 2017. He was inducted into the OA in 2020 and was the registration chair last year. He went to Sea Base over the summer and did the scuba trek. His hobbies include mountain biking, rock climbing, and snowboarding.

David Emery
David, an Eagle Scout, was inducted in 2002 as a youth into Manitous Lodge in Michigan, where he served as lodge vice-chief and C2A Section Chief. After moving to Tennessee and becoming an active volunteer in the Middle Tennessee Council, he began serving Wa-Hi-Nasa as chapter adviser for Allagon. Since then, he has gone on to serve as Brotherhood committee adviser, OAU adviser, and associate lodge adviser. David is currently a member of Crew 221 in Highland Rim. He is a recipient of the Josh Sain Memorial Award, Founder’s Award, and the Silver Beaver. David lives in Dickson with his wife Kristen and their sons, Brady and Grant. Outside of spending time with his family, he enjoys backpacking and playing golf.
