Communications Survey

Winter Camp: Brotherhood Opportunity

During Winter Camp on Saturday at 7:30 there will be an opportunity to go through the Brotherhood Ceremony and a cracker barrel for OA members starting at 8:30! To participate in the Brotherhood ceremony bring 25$ and arrive for the Brotherhood Review at 7:30.

Summer Camp Staff

Do you want to staff summer camp? Well now is the time to sign up! There are plenty of places to staff in a variety of areas spanning from aquatics to kitchen. Boxwell needs your help in putting on the best summer camp experience for Scouts in the Middle Tennessee Council! Spots are open, don’t forget to apply at https://www.mtcbsa.org/campstaffopportunity

Camping Guide

The Where To Go Scouting Guide is a collection of activities and places where your units can have fun adventuring! Share your favorite Scouting spots or places to camp with us. These can include state parks, national parks, or private properties that your unit or district has camped at. Help submit your favorite camping places at https://linktr.ee/wahinasa

OA High Adventure

Imagine hiking through some of the same territories as Waite Phillips, Dr. Goodman and other noteworthy Scouting figures. Imagine forming a team, coming into an experience as strangers, but leaving as friends for a lifetime. Few people get to experience the world’s natural beauty and understand what true fellowship is all about. Next summer, the Order of the Arrow invites you to this rare occasion and to participate in the OA High Adventure program.

Winter Banquet

To Celebrate 85 Years of Cheerful Service in the Wa-Hi-Nasa Lodge; our celebration themed banquet will be held at MTSU in the Grand Ballroom. Join us for a fun night of food, fellowship, awards, and installation of your 2024 Lodge officers and Chapter Chiefs and Advisers. 

Celebrate with us as we reflect on 85 years of cheerful service and our continued service. We will recognize Arrowmen for their outstanding service to our lodge and Scouting!

Winter Camp Staffing

Come join us for an unforgettable winter adventure at our Ice Age: Around the World-themed Winter Camp! Step back in time and embark on an exciting journey. The winter camp is scheduled for December 27th-31st, and we’re thrilled to share all the fantastic activities and events that our Wa-Hi-Nasa members have prepared! If you are interested in staffing this year’s winter camp, fill out an interest form here.

NOAC 2024

The premier national OA  event is the National Order of the Arrow Conference (NOAC). A large university campus hosts it every two years, and up to 8,000 Arrowmen from all 50 states attend. In terms of scale and scope, it is only surpassed by the BSA National Jamboree. The University of Colorado Boulder will host NOAC in 2024 from July 29 to August 3! The Calvin Hughes Campership is available to youth lodge members who require financial assistance to attend national OA events. Request by reaching out to lodgeadviser@wa-hi-nasa.org.

Summer Camp OA Rep

Summer Camp 2023 is just around the corner. We are in search of staff members for summer camp next year. One position that is offered is the OA Summer Camp Rep position, serving as a representative of the Wa-Hi-Nasa Lodge and the Order of the Arrow, while fulfilling traditional summer camp staff responsibilities. ArrowCorps 111

ArrowCorps 111 occurred on October 21st, 2023 at Parish Scout Reservation. Over 60 members came out to give service to a council camp. A shortlist of service includes: a new orienteering course, fixed walking trails, and more! Thank you  to all the members who gave cheerful service!

Winter Banquet Recap

The Starry Night Winter Banquet was a big success. There were over 200 registered and approximately 175 in attendance. 50 individual awards were handed out to Arrowmen and chapters. The 2022 Chapter Chiefs and Advisers were recognized with certificates of appreciation, as were the 2022 Lodge Officers and their Advisers.

Winter Camp 2022 is the 20th annual Winter Camp held at Boxwell Scout Reservation. As an OA member, you can work on this Winter Camp staff. Winter camp will be held from December 26 to 31. Please fill out the interest form here.
